Four domestic pet ducks sitting in the snow under Yew bushes. Three white Pekins and one Black Runner. You can see their recently set out liquid water dish and their feet and bills as the warmest objects pictured. Their feathers insulate them well against the freezing temperatures. You can also see the change in ground snow temperature between the sunlit and shade under the Yews.
